"New Democrats have spent this past year rebuilding the party, talking to Canadians about what matters to them. I want to thank all five leadership contestants for showing the heart and soul of our movement throughout the campaign."

David Eby (Premier of British Columbia) expressed and congratulated Avi Lewis as,
"Congratulations to Avi Lewis on being elected as the federal leader by NDP members, and thank you to Don Davies for your service as interim leader. Here in BC, we are strengthening public healthcare by bringing in hundreds of doctors and nurses. We are tackling the housing crisis by building tens of thousands of homes. In unstable times, our Look West plan is growing our economy and creating good, union jobs in the industries that power our province like mining, energy and tech. We are speeding up approvals by working with local communities and Indigenous people. Our priority is lifting up working people and growing prosperity. We will work with anyone and any federal leader who shares our priorities, and stand firm against those who put that progress at risk."

Wab Kinew (Premier of Manitoba) has also congratulated Avi Lewis on X (Twitter) on his electoral victory in NDP Leadership.

During his Leadership campaign, NDP leader was endorsed by 103 NDP Leaders & 16 distinguished organizations with a idealogy of taking the party forward as "True Party of 99%". This represents NDP's tax plan for 99% for ultra rich, dignified work for canadians in digital age, implementing a national rent cap and more. This rebuilding phase has been faced by the New Democrats in 1993, when the party seats in house of commons was reduced to only 9 seats, which then progressively made it way back in house of commons with 19 seats under the leadership of Jack Layton by 2004. A tremendous success for NDP as it starts to rebuild itself again, after the 2025 elections.
