Warner Bros Discovery & DC Studios (May 18, 2026) (New York, United States): The Warner Bros Discovery has released the Second Teaser of New Upcoming TV Series LANTERNS premiering August 16, 2026 on HBO & HBO Max. The DC Studios upcoming drama series is an adaptation of DC's famous and legendary comic character 'Green Lantern'. The debut series will feature Aaron Pierre as John Stewart in lead role as a new recruit with Lantern Legend Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler). The story script takes viewers on a hunch with Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler) and John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) two intergalatic cops going out on hunt to investigate murder in Mid-West AmericasThe newest teaser is full of hilarious moments with plenty of serious and mind-blowing segments setting the tone for the fans. The two teasers have shown promising pottential that fans are most hyped about setting a great drift for DC Universe fans as studios tries to regain million of hearts globally in New DC Universe

The Second Teaser has also shown glimpse and introduced Laura Linney's dramatic figure appearing towards the end of Lantern's teaser. The specifics of role are still under the wraps as the teaser only highlights linney's in supporting role to John Stewart (Aaron Pierre) & Hal Jordan (Kyle Chandler), speculating she will be playing partner or previous eminent members of Green Lantern Corps

Lanterns is scheduled be released in August 16, 2026 carrying forward the story in a different manner than 'Supergirl' (2026 film) releasing on June 26 (2026).
