Katy Perry & Calvin Harris Takes The Stage at Baku Over The Azerbaijan Grand Prix Race Weekend

Forumla 1 (May 11, 2026) (Canada): Forumla 1 announces it's star studded artists to take centre stage at Baku (Azerbaijan) in September (2026) during the Formula 1 Qatar Airways Azerbaijan Grand Prix. The Three-Day Grand Prix is set to starts on weekend September 24 - 26, 2026. The race week consist of Two Free Practice (FP) sessions on Thursday (September 24; 1:30 AM & 5 AM - PT) following Morning One Free Pre-Practice (FPP) session (September 25; 1:30 AM - PT) and afternoon Qualifers on Friday (September 25; 5AM - PT). The Race event take place on Saturday (September 26; 4 AM - PT). Click here to view the race calender, circuit, tickets and more information. This year also marks the 10 year Anniversary of Azerbaijan - Forumla 1 Grand Prix being held at Baku (Capital of Azerbaijan). The sensational Calvin Harris (Scottish DJ and Record Producer) is scheduled to perform during launch and anniversary ceremony on September 24 (2026). Harris will be joined by stardom queen Katy Perry on the eve of Qualifers on September 25 (2026) at the closing ceremony.

The news release suggests Race Organizers remarks as, "One of the highlights of the landmark program will be a live performance by global superstar Perry in Baku. As one of the most influential and dynamic figures in the global music scene, the artist will deliver an unforgettable show for thousands of Formula 1 fans during a special evening on September 25. The 10th anniversary of the Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be remembered not only for the on-track excitement but also for an extraordinary music program in Baku. Perry’s performance will bring unforgettable atmosphere, emotion, and a true festival spirit to thousands of fans throughout the race weekend. 

Race Organizer's goes on to say about Calvin Harris as, "In addition to his commercial success, Harris has received major industry recognition over the course of his career. He is a Grammy Award winner for “We Found Love”, has received six Grammy nominations in total, and has also earned multiple BRIT Awards and MTV Video Music Awards nominations. His appearance adds significant international profile to Thursday night’s entertainment program and further strengthens the overall fan experience of this anniversary edition in Baku."
